Our Mission: Ensure that by age 5, all of our children have the foundation to achieve their full potential.
Opening in September 2014, the Community Early Learning Center (CELC) of the Fox Valley is a multi-agency center that focuses on the families of young children and those serving them so their children will be ready for kindergarten by age five - especially those families with young children who are at risk due to experiences of poverty or other unhealthy stresses.
The CELC provides a focal point and a rallying site for early childhood in our community. The CELC serves as a launching place for increased attention and investment in human capital for the future of the Fox Valley Region.
In Spring 2018, the Community Early Learning Center in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Healthy Minds-Healthy Minds Innovations, Lawrence University and the University of Wisconsin-Fox began The Kindness Project research study for preschoolers. We are now in year two of our project.

CELC Hosts PBS Early Childhood Edcamp
What's an edcamp? An edcamp is much different from a traditional conference. What makes it unique is that it has an agenda that’s created by the participants at the start of the event. Instead of hiring speakers that stand in front of the room talking, people are encouraged to have discussions and hands-on sessions.
This edcamp was a partnership between PBS Wisconsin and the Community Early Learning Center of the Fox Valley. It focused on early childhood in the Fox Valley. Over 100 early childhood educators, child care providers and community members attended this event!
