Our Mission: Ensure that by age 5, all of our children have the foundation to achieve their full potential.

Opening in September 2014, the Community Early Learning Center (CELC) of the Fox Valley is a multi-agency center that focuses on the families of young children and those serving them so their children will be ready for kindergarten by age five - especially those families with young children who are at risk due to experiences of poverty or other unhealthy stresses.

The CELC provides a focal point and a rallying site for early childhood in our community.  The CELC serves as a launching place for increased attention and investment in human capital for the future of the Fox Valley Region.

In Spring 2018, the Community Early Learning Center Research Committee led by researchers at Lawrence University and the UW Oshkosh--Fox Cities Campus, and in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Healthy Minds-Healthy Minds Innovations, began The Kindness Project research study for preschoolers. We are now in year three of our project.
